Location: Austin, TX

Description

Overview

Z5 Inventory is the healthcare industry's leading inventory management partner, serving hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and clinical facilities through multiple service models. Z5 provides fully outsourced inventory count engagements, a software platform that enables healthcare organizations to self-perform their own inventory projects with remote support, and outsourced consulting services delivered through trusted partners across multiple markets. Together, these offerings enable Z5 to meet healthcare clients wherever they operate and provide end-to-end inventory management solutions on a scale.

As Z5 Inventory continues to scale, we are seeking a driven and operationally minded Recruiter to support the growth of our teams — with a particular focus on building talent pipelines for our Optimization team, our Client Services team, and our growing portfolio of outsourced labor customers. This is a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting role that requires the ability to source, screen, and place candidates quickly and effectively across a range of operational, technical, and client-facing positions.

A unique aspect of this role is the responsibility to recruit videographers who are deployed alongside inventory count teams at client facilities to capture the inventory process on camera. This requires an eye for creative talent combined with an understanding of field-based project deployment work.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a dynamic environment, understands the nuances of staffing for project-based and field operations work, and is energized by the challenge of matching the right people to the right roles at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Optimization Team Recruiting

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for the Optimization team, which partners with healthcare clients to identify operational efficiencies, analyze inventory data, and implement process improvements across client facilities.
  • Source and attract candidates with backgrounds in healthcare operations, supply chain, data analysis, and process improvement who can thrive in a consulting-style, client-facing environment.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive pipeline of optimization talent to support the team's growth and expanding client commitments.
  • Partner closely with Optimization team leadership to understand evolving staffing needs, project timelines, and the specific competencies required for success in each role.
  • Develop job descriptions, post positions, and manage candidate flow through the full hiring process — from sourcing through offer acceptance.

Client Services Team Recruiting

  • Support recruiting for the Client Services team, sourcing candidates for project management, client-facing, and operational roles that support both fully outsourced and software license customer engagements.
  • Recruit videographers to be deployed on-site at hospital and outpatient surgery center client facilities to capture inventory count projects on camera, ensuring candidates are comfortable working in clinical environments and have experience with field-based or event-style video production.
  • Build a reliable pipeline of videography talent that can be mobilized on short notice to support project schedules across multiple client sites and geographies.
  • Partner with the Director of Client Services to understand project calendars, deployment locations, and the specific technical and interpersonal qualities needed for videographers working in healthcare settings.
  • Ensure videographer candidates understand the nature of the work — including travel requirements, clinical facility protocols, and the importance of professionalism and discretion in sensitive healthcare environments.

Outsourced Labor Customer Recruiting

  • Manage high-volume recruiting efforts to support Z5's outsourced inventory count projects, sourcing field-based project staff who can be deployed to hospital and outpatient surgery center client sites across the country.
  • Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines to meet fluctuating staffing demands, particularly during peak project seasons when deployment volume increases significantly.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract reliable, detail-oriented candidates for field inventory roles, including leveraging job boards, community networks, staffing partnerships, and social media.
  • Coordinate closely with the Director of Client Services and project management teams to anticipate upcoming staffing needs by project, geography, and timeline.
  • Ensure a fast, efficient hiring process for outsourced labor roles, balancing speed with quality to meet client project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate status, offer activity, and headcount projections across all active outsourced labor engagements.
  • Support recruiting efforts for trusted consulting partner networks operating across multiple markets, ensuring Z5's outsourced consulting service model is supported by qualified, vetted professionals.

General Recruiting & People Operations

  • Partner with hiring managers across Client Services, Data, and Consulting teams to support additional open roles as needed.
  • Conduct resume reviews, phone screens, and structured interviews, providing clear and consistent candidate assessments to hiring teams.
  • Manage candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and a professional, welcoming candidate journey.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring all candidate data and pipeline activity are accurately recorded.
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives that position Z5 Inventory as an employer of choice in the healthcare services and operations space.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, and pipeline health across all open roles.
